Car parking

There are several car parks located close to St Michael’s. On-street parking is free in Ancoats after 6pm.

In addition street parking bays are available close to the venue on Blossom Street, George Leigh Street, Sherratt Street and Cornell Street. These bays are chargeable 8am – 6pm Monday to Sunday with a maximum stay of two hours at any one time. There are a number of meters at which to pay in close proximity to the bays. There is no charge to park in these bays outside the hours listed above or on Bank Holidays and visitors in the evenings particularly are encouraged to utilise these spaces whenever possible.
