Dov Goldberg joined Psappha in 1993 and has toured with the group throughout Europe, to North and South America, Australia, and South-East Asia. He has appeared as Psappha’s clarinettist, also playing saxophone, harmonica and kaval,  numerous broadcasts and recordings and concerts.

Dov has played Principal Clarinet with many of the country’s orchestras, recording and touring extensively. The folk music of the Balkans is also very important to Dov; supported by the Arts Council he has travelled the region, enabling him to research the music of the area and to recreate it with various ensembles.

Dov lives in Northumberland with his wife and three children and in addition to teaching and playing is a published historian.
