BEN FOSKETT Some Variations (2007) world premiere
Psappha conducted by Nicholas Kok Recorded Live at St. Ann's Church in Manchester on 21st November 2007
Programme note This piece is a set of five variations with the last three running together. In some ways the variations are quite obsessive. The feeling I get is one of being locked into a piece which could go round and round obsessing over the little theme forever. The two outer variations are the same and act as a kind of passage in and out of the music. Ben Foskett
